MACON, IL – Leon Alick Brion, 49, of Macon, IL died 1:30 p.m. Friday May 21, 1993 in his residence.
Mr. Brion was born in Ithaca on September 2, 1943, the son of Alick and Madelyne Honness Brion. He married Judy Quick on April 28, 1978 in Fort Meyers, FL. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Decantur and American Legion Post 800 in Groton, NY. He was the owner of J & L Construction Co., and a six year Navy veteran, serving in Vietnam.
Surviving are his wife; sons Greg and Jeremy, both of Decatur; daughter, Wendy Webb of Moweaqua; four grandchildren, Dustan, Brock, and Demi Webb, Moweaqua; Laken Brion of Decantur; brothers, Sam Brion, Pittsburgh, PA; Chet of Ithaca; sisters, Barbara Rogers, Etna; Patty McClary, Fort Meyers, FL;, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Richard and Helen Quick, Moweaqua.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Central Baptist Church in Decatur. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, and one hour before services in the church Tuesday. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Moweaqua.
