The Antler's is a modest restaurant that is noted for its rustic charm serving a variety of seafood specialties, pasta, chicken, shrimp, fish, lobster, beef, london broil, and filet mignon. It is located on Dryden Road just east of the center of Varna near the intersection with Route 13. Anter's may be a bit out of the way, but they have Great Food and the prices are reasonable. The Boat Yard Grill may be one of the more popular dining spots in Ithaca due to its location, excellent menu, and occasional entertainment. Located on the water near the former Freemens Marina, it has a nautical theme with both indoor and outdoor dining facilites. The menu features an excellent choice of fish, seafood, sandwiches, salads and a variety of meat dishes. Visit their web site to get a better "flavor" of what they have to offer. It's GREAT!!!!! but do not take my word for it. It's well worth the visit!!!

Ciao's is one of the newer Italian restaurants in the area. The owner of Ciao's is also the owner of the Boat Yard Grill. Ciao's restaurant is located at the site of the old "Billy Bob Jacks's. This Italian-American restaurant serves seafood and steak in addition to pizza and other traditional pasta dishes. It comes highly recommended by the local natives.

The Heights Cafe & Grill is considered by most locals to be Ithaca's fanciest restaurant. They boast to having one of the largest wine lists in the area (although the Corks & More Wine Bar may have something to say about that). They serve what they call American Fancy Seafood and Steak and I understand they also serve a mean $18 Brie Cheese Burger (1lb.grilled sirloin). Simeon's is located in a turn-of-the-century building rich with unique architecture. Built in 1871, it has been a soda and candy store, men's clothing store, a tavern, and to date an up-scale American Bistro restaurant. Their lunch menu includes burgers (w/tuna, angus beef), sandwiches, salads and for dinner they have a variety dishes including filet mignon, lamb, short ribs, chicken, and seafood choices including jumbo shrimp, scallops, salmon, sandwiches, and salads. Let us not forget The state Diner and those early, very early breakfasts after a hard night of dancing at the high school dances, a basketball game or wrestling match or just hanging out with good friends. It is still open 24 hours a day and it hasn't changed a bit. It still has those flip-down round seats in the booths in the back.
Prices: Not at 50's prices, but still reasonable!!
