Lt. Col. David John Seeley, 51, USMC (Ret.) of Cascade died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995 in Colorado.
He was retired from the US Marine Corp after 31 yrs. of service as an aviator.
He was born Feb. 10, 1944 in Millen, GA son of John G. and Catherine (Cook) Seeley of Ithaca, NY. David was married April 1, 1967 in Lansing, MI to Suzan (Maunus) who survives him in Colorado Springs, CO.
Survivors include his son, Dean David Seeley of CO, daughter, Kristina Dotson of Germany, sister, Cathy Crymes of MD, 3 brothers, Dan Seeley of MA, George Seeley of Cooperstown, NY and Tom Seeley of Ithaca, NY.
He was a graduate of Cornell Univeristy, he served in the USMC for 31 years.
His awards include the Distinguished Flying Cross, Presidential Service Badge among other military decorations.
He was a member of the International Practical Shooting Assoc., Master Gunsmith Retired Officers Assoc., Hunting, Bicycling, Canoeing, and National Rifle Association.
