Classmate Info

Use this section to...
(1) enter your Profile, (2) find out about your classmates, and (3) communicate with them. This is a secure area, so usernames and passwords are involved. Want help? Contact Diana Buckingham at mamabuck@twcny.rr.com.

(1) Enter your Profile for the first time:
a) If you are new to this area, click the "Add Your Profile" button.
b) Create a Username and Password and enter them. Then write them down.
c) Fill in the rest of the form and enter the security code at the bottom. If you don't fill in the security code correctly, you will have at least one more chance to enter it.
d) Diana will add your Yearbook photo to your Profile. If you want to add a current photo, send a .jpg/.gif or other photo media to Diana by attaching it to an e-mail.

(2) How To update your Profile:
a) If you already have a Profile, then retrieve it using the search function, and click the "Edit Your Profile" button.
b) The system will ask you for your Username and Password. If you forgot them, click on the "I forgot my username and password" button. You will receive an e-mail within a couple of minutes containing the two items. Write them down again.
c) Update your Profile and save it.

(3) Helpful things to know:
a) If you don't want to mess with Usernames and Passwords, send your information to Diana Buckingham (mamabuck@twcny.rr.com) with a note saying: "I don't want to mess with this, but I want to share some information." Diana will then enter your info for you.
b) If you want to see where classmates now live, click on the "Where are they now" button.
c) Use the "Send This Person A Message" button to send an e-mail to a specific person. You can only use it to contact one person at a time.

What have you been doing for the past 50 years?: RN Nursing School 62'-65', graduated, Licensed 7/65. Worked full-time at TCH 65', 66' - 71' - ICU, CCU, 5/;77 Full-time stay-at-home Mom with 2 children until 9/73 returned to work at Lansing Central School as School Nurse, Middle & High School until 9/94 - transferred to elementary school - retired 6/2000 Hooray!! Still do some substituting at Lansing. We have 2 children (now adults and married), son, Duane David and daughter Sue (also an RN at CmC) Grandchildren - Isaac-10, Cassiah-7, Brandan-7, and now Molli Rose, age 5+ weeks!! We have been very active in our church. We like to travel simply with our truck camper. We go to Florida late winter, early spring. We attend Dewey's Navy Alumni Ship Reunions.

Special Interests: I like to sew, quilt, create, crochet, walk, jog, spend time with family, grandchildren, enjoy the out of doors and helping others. We seem to be even busier retired than when we were working and raising a family!!

What have you been doing for the past 50 years?: Wow 50 years...Hard to believe!! I attended Bucknell University. Tom and I married after graduation and went on to UVa for graduate school. I taught high school history and loved it.I retired from full time work when our children were born. We have lived in Bearnardsville, NJ, Amherst, NH and London, England. We retired two years ago to our summer place on Nantucket and to Vero Beach. I have often been in Ithaca and will be back in May for a few days. So sorry to miss the reunion.

After several years in Aurora where R taught at Wells, careers were spent working for the State of NC; Retired in 1998 and have spent the last 20 years investing and managing rental real estate. Ready to retire again!
Comments: Fondest memories of IHS and Ithaca.. sadly no family remain there so we are looking forward to returning for the July '17 reunion, health permitting.

What have you been doing for the past 50 years?: I keep insanely busy here with my work and my weekends (which often includes
work). I started a consulting firm 20 years ago, providing strategic planning and management services to the nonprofit sector. Over the years, we have built a large and wonderful client base. That's the good news. The bad news is that it takes thousands of hours to care for them. I work - still, at my
old old old age (LOL!!) - 60-80 hours each week. Someday, I'll slow down. And in "leisure" hours, we spend time managing four luxury vacation rental
homes that we own in Palm Springs. You know the drill - except we're 120 miles away and they are individual homes versus a cluster of bedrooms. Someday, we will retire to one of the homes, to really enjoy the serenity and beauty of the desert and mountains in that area.

I have a wonderful son, daughter-in-law, and two fantastic grandchildren living in the Bay Area. We spend great time together - though not often enough.

I went from Ithaca High School to Dartmouth, graduating in 1966. Then, I moved on to Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, graduating in 1968 with an MBA. My career has taken me many places, including living in Washington, DC, Denver, Chicago, New York, Rochester,
San Francisco, and now Los Angeles. As you can see, I'm a city-type guy!!
